Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Teno mobile application (“App”) operated by Ambra (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Teno, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Teno, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Teno is a personal itinerary builder that allows you to:

• Create detailed day-by-day itineraries with customizable themes and typography
• Add notes, reminders, photos, labels, and music to your itineraries
• Share itineraries with others via iMessage App Clips
• Receive suggestions from recipients on shared itineraries

Teno offers a free tier with core features and an optional Teno Premium subscription that unlocks designer themes, premium typography styles, music attachment, unlock screens, suggestions, and mood board features.

2A. Subscriptions & Billing

Teno Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription with the following options:

• Monthly: $2.99 USD per month
• Annual: $19.99 USD per year

Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

Managing & Canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then.

No Partial Refunds. In accordance with Apple's policies, no refunds are provided for any unused portion of a subscription period. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Free Tier. All free-tier features remain available without a subscription. If your subscription lapses, premium features on your itineraries will be temporarily hidden until you resubscribe.

2B. Grandfathered Users

Users who purchased Teno v1.0 as a one-time purchase ($4.99 USD) are automatically granted lifetime Teno Premium access at no additional cost. This entitlement is permanent and does not require a subscription.

2C. Collaboration

Teno allows itinerary creators to invite other Teno users as collaborators for co-editing. By accepting a collaboration invite (which occurs automatically when you are added by email), you agree to the following:

• Shared Access. Collaborators can view and edit the itinerary content (days, entries, notes, reminders). The creator retains full ownership and can remove collaborators at any time.
• Premium Features. Modifying premium features (themes, typography, music, unlock screens, mood board, suggestions) on a collaborative itinerary requires the collaborator's own Teno Premium subscription. Viewing premium styling applied by the creator is free.
• Content Responsibility. You are responsible for the content you contribute to collaborative itineraries. Do not add content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
• Data Visibility. Your email address and display name (if provided) will be visible to the itinerary creator and other collaborators on the same itinerary.
• Notifications. You may receive push notifications when added as a collaborator. You can disable these in your device's Settings at any time.

3. Account

3.1 Registration

You must sign in with Apple to use Teno. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device.

3.2 Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated itineraries and data from our servers.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create in Teno, including itinerary text, photos, and configurations (“User Content”). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

4.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to create or share content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

4.3 Shared Itineraries

When you share an itinerary, recipients can view its contents through the Teno App Clip. You are responsible for the content of itineraries you share. Recipients may submit suggestions visible to you within the itinerary.

5. Apple Music Integration

Teno allows you to search for and attach songs from Apple Music to your itineraries using Apple's MusicKit framework. This feature:

• Requires your authorization to access Apple Music
• Streams a 30-second preview for recipients — no Apple Music subscription is required to listen
• Stores only the song identifier, title, artist, and album art URL
• Is subject to Apple's terms of service for MusicKit and Apple Music

We do not provide full song playback, downloads, or access to your Apple Music library.

6. Photos

The Vibe Check feature allows you to select photos from your Photo Library. Photos are:

• Selected by you — we never access your full Photo Library
• Compressed and resized before storage
• Stored as part of your itinerary data on our servers
• Shared with recipients when you share the itinerary

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, themes, decorations, typography, icons, and code, is owned by Ambra and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

7.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about Teno, you grant us the right to use that feedback without obligation to you.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App
• Use the App to spam or send unsolicited content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Circumvent any security features of the App

9. Disclaimers

9.1 “As Is” Service

TENO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including itinerary content.

9.3 Third-Party Services

Teno relies on third-party services (Firebase, Apple Music, Sign in with Apple). We are not responsible for outages, changes, or issues with these services.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMBRA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF TENO, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION OR THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ambra and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Teno at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) shall survive.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using the App and delete your account.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ambra regarding your use of Teno.
